ABOUT TVI

Introducing: The Vein Institute

The Vein Institute team is led by Tallahassee’s ONLY Board-Certified Vascular and Endovascular Surgeons. We know that venous disorders affect both men and women in all age groups. Unsightly veins may not just be cosmetic, as they could be a sign of a serious underlying medical condition. By identifying the underlying cause of your varicose veins, The Vein Institute can help you prevent and treat lifelong chronic venous disorders.

Your First Visit

During your first visit to the office you will be seen and evaluated by one our venous specialists. If indicated, an ultrasound examination will be performed. The combination of the history of the clinical problem, the physician’s examination, the ultrasound study findings, and the visualization of veins beneath the skin surface using all of our diagnostic tools will provide a complete assessment of your vein problem. We will explain the findings and their significance to you and offer recommendations for treatment if needed. The alternatives and the risks of any procedure will be explained as well. Questions will be answered. At TVI, we want you to be fully informed and to be comfortable knowing that your best possible clinical result is our desire.
